Social Media Content Submission

We are glad to post messages, events, and calls to action on our social media channels for our members- free of charge. Simply download and fill out our  Social Media Content Submission Form (click highlighted blue area) and return it to Marketing Director, Eddie Reynoso at eddie@Hillcrestbia.org.
Remember all items submitted to be featured on Hillcrest Business Association accounts should be applicable to the Hillcrest community and its followers. Please allow at least seven days advanced notice and note that all content will be posted at the discretion of Marketing. The HBA reserves the right to make changes to submitted copy to maintain consistency in language.
We find that our most successful posts are:
Visual
People are more likely to interact with a social media post if it includes an eye-catching photo. If your post includes one, we’ll consider sharing it on Facebook and Instagram. If not, we’ll schedule it for Twitter.
Short
Twitter’s 140-character limit keeps our tweets short and to the point. For all other platforms, we try to limit ourselves to one to two sentences. Share the most important information in your post’s text and provide followers with a link to your website or blog to get details.
Conversational
However, you tell someone about the information you have to share in person should be how you would tell them about it on social media. You will need to know which platforms you want us to share your message on, the date and tie you would like your message shared and any relevant information such as links, tags, and photos.  If you have any questions on how to submit social media content, or would like assistance, please call Eddie at 619-299-3330.
