Hillcrest’s iconic landmark was vandalized last week. Two plaques beneath the Pride Flag on University Avenue and Normal Street were intentionally damaged and are now in need of repair.
Those interested in helping us repair this neighborhood symbol can make a $20 donation at the link. Hale Media and Crest Cafe have graciously decided to match your donation with a $20 meal voucher to be used at the restaurant.
All proceeds will not only go to replacing the panels but also to add protective acrylic overlays to thwart off future destruction.
