Uptown Community Parking District
The Uptown Community Parking District is the sister organization to the HBA and is responsible for improving parking and access to Hillcrest. They create parking policy for uptown through spending meter money, setting meter hours, and creating improvements. Find out more at Accesshillcrest.com.
Councilmember Stephen Whitburn
Stephen represents Hillcrest on the San Diego City Council and has been a strong partner of the HBA. His team have moved a variety of projects forward including supporting outdoor Patios for restaurants, advocating for diversity training, and much more. Connect with Stephen here.
Uptown Planners
The Uptown Planners is the city recognized organization that represents the neighborhood concerning new development and construction. The planners review deviations from the community plan and discuss land use policy issues. Find out more at www.UptownPlannersSD.org.
Hillcrest Town Council

Pride flag partners
The HBA is the steward of the Hillcrest Pride Flag. The 65’ tall flagpole at the foot of Normal Street flies the rainbow flag most of the year but often it flies different pride flags. The Transgender flag, the Leather Pride flag, the Bisexual Pride flag are all examples of flags the fly annually.
